School Science Fair Sponsors must fill out and submit an Affiliation Form in order for that school to be eligible to send students to the GNOSEF. This provides information for important future correspondence and for facility planning for the GNOSEF event. By affiliating, the school agrees to follow all of the rules of the Greater New Orleans Science and Engineering Fair. This form must be submitted by October 3, 2026. The 2026 Greater New Orleans Science and Engineering Fair (GNOSEF) is being held IN-PERSON on Monday, February 24th to Monday, March 2nd and we are in need of judges! The fair will be held at the Lavin-Bernick Center at Tulane University and is open to 6th-12th grade students in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard and Plaquemines parishes. Parking is provided at no cost by Loyola University. Judges will need to pre-review/judge projects prior to students’ presentations the week of the fair. Category judging will take place on Tuesday, February 24th and Wednesday, February 25th IN-PERSON from 8am-12pm. Grand Award judging will take place Wednesday, February 25th and Thursday, February 26th over Zoom.
Signing up as a category judge or grand award judge for 2026 has closed. If you are interested in assisting with judging, please complete the judge form indicating what day(s) you are available. We have additional awards that you can assist judging for.
