Science Fair Modeling – how to take a topic of interest and develop it into a science fair project!

The GNOSEF workshop will help teachers develop student engagement from a general interest topic into a scientific testable question or engineering design. Presenters will model how to connect with student interests, generate extensions or ideas from that interest, and develop into testable science questions or engineering design projects. Additional topics will include identifying meaningful measurements, obtaining supplies and resources, connecting with mentors, and planning for reporting of data.
$100 stipend for teacher attendance and an additional $100 for meeting with a GNOSEF mentor and submitting 5 projects for the regional fair (NEW!).
