Greater New Orleans Science and Engineering Fair

2018 ONLINE VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION FORM

Please come help us make a difference ......volunteer at a regional science fair!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2018 Greater New Orleans Science and Engineering Fair (GNOSEF)! It will be held at Tulane University in partnership with Loyola University.

It will be held at Tulane University's Lavin-Bernick Center at 29 McAlister Drive on February 26th - March 1st. Complimentary parking will be provided by Loyola University. The GNOSEF awards ceremony is Thursday evening, March 1st at TBD.

For more than 50 years, the GNOSEF has given area students an opportunity to apply and formally display methods of scientific inquiry. The Region IX Science Fair is open to middle and high school students in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines parishes and is one of the largest fairs of its kind in the state of Louisiana with over 300 students expected this year. It is much needed to encourage area students to pursue possible career interests in science and engineering, as it is well known that there is an upcoming shortage of college graduates in these fields.

Please let us know below what day and times you are available. The schedule for the fair is shown below, but we could use help at any time! The attire is casual – slacks and comfortable shoes.
