Greater New Orleans Science and Engineering Fair

2017 ONLINE SAFETY JUDGE REGISTRATION FORM

Please come help us make a difference ......volunteer at a regional science fair!

The Greater New Orleans Science and Engineering Fair (GNOSEF) is in need of safety judges on

Monday, February 13th and Tuesday, February 14th!

For more than 50 years, the GNOSEF has given area students an opportunity to apply and formally display methods of scientific inquiry. The Region IX Science Fair is open to middle and high school students in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines parishes and is one of the largest fairs of its kind in the state of Louisiana with over 300 students expected this year. It is much needed to encourage area students to pursue possible career interests in science and engineering, as it is well known that there is an upcoming shortage of college graduates in these fields. It will be held at University of New Orleans (UNO) Human Performance Center at 2000 Lakeshore Drive on February 13th-16th.

Please let us know below what day/times you are available. The schedule for safety judging is shown below, but we could use help at any time! If you cannot help during safety judging, please sign up to be a volunteer here. The attire is casual – slacks and comfortable shoes.
