President's Message

In the coming Spring of 2008 we will be celebrating the 52nd year of Region IX of the Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair in Louisiana. It is very important that the students of this region be given all possible help that we can give them. We are constantly updating our system to be current with new technology. We will also be offering tech help to students at their individual schools through an Honor Society at Tulane University.

Participating in the fair is a wonderful opportunity for the students to develop the skills they will need in their future education or work place. They are being asked to select a category for their entry, think of a project to fit into that category, then build their exhibit while abiding by the rules published on the web site for GNOSEF.

Every member of the Board is dedicated to making the year 2008 Fair successful.  The devastation of the storm left us limping but not defeated even in our 2007 year.
